Market Events this March
We have loads of Market events this month to numb your end-of-summer blues. From the beautiful sounds of Opera in the Market to the vibrant tastes and colours of the Turkish Pazar Festival and a handful of book launches complete with tastes – we’ve got your Autumn sorted.
Tortellini at Midnight

We welcome Emiko Davies back to the Market to celebrate the release of her new book Tortellini at Midnight. Meet Emiko and learn how to fold beautiful tortellini. You’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy some delicious tastes. If you love pasta, this one’s for you.
Opera in the Market
Monday, March 4
For one memorable night, the historic Queen Victoria Market will become a theatre like no other. Enjoy the drama and spectacle of some of the world’s favourite opera singers and sample fine wines and wonderful food from a selection of Melbourne’s famous food vans.
Turkish Pazar Festival

Queen Victoria Market will transform into a traditional Turkish street market with the vibrant tastes, colours and sounds of Turkey. Enjoy delicious food, beautiful music, arts and crafts, cultural displays and day-long stage performances.

Pinch Points, one of Melbourne post-punk garage bands play live at the Market. Experience the wonders of Queen Victoria Market and wrap up the day with a solid dose of home-grown live music at Zo Damage.
An Introduction to Sake with Tasting
