Taste of Malaysia
Sunday, April 7
Enjoy a day out with the whole family as you celebrate traditional Malaysian culture. Get a taste of Malaysian art and history while you dine on mouth-watering cuisine and soak up the vibrant performances.
Europa Night Market
Wednesdays April 10 – May 8, 5pm – 10pm
The Europa Night Market brings your favourite European street eats to Melbourne’s most iconic sheds for an exclusive five-week season. Sink your teeth into everything from Portuguese barbecue to Belgian frites, Irish Guinness wings and so much more. With over 40 food and retail stalls, plus live entertainment, Euro-inspired bars and a silent disco – make sure this one is in the calendar.
Sri Lankan Festival
Sunday, April 14, 10am-4pm
Celebrate Sinhala and Tamil New Year at the Market. Join in the festivities as Sinhala Buddhists and Tamil Hindus come together for a day filled with cultural performances and workshops, traditional food, live music, cooking demonstrations and colourful decorations.
Easter Trail for Kids
Saturday, April 6 – Sunday, April 21
Follow the Market’s Easter trail, find the bunnies, gather up the clues and win a prize. Check out the Easter trail map, which will soon be available from our Visitor Hub in String Bean Alley and our website.
Easter Bunny Visits
Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21, 10am-2pm
The Easter Bunny will be making a very special appearance at the Market on both Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday. Bring the kids down to meet him and collect some yummy Easter eggs!
Melbourne Book Market
Every Sunday until August 25
The Melbourne Book Market is a curated collection of more than 5000 new and pre-loved titles. Peruse literature, history, gardening, travel, art and kids’ books plus a selection of quality second-hand vinyl records and CDs.
