What’s on for September
Spring is finally here and our event calendar is packed to the max with great family fun activities. Whether it’s dancing at our African music workshops, sampling Ukrainian sweets at our Ukrainian festival or indulging in delicious Asian cuisine from all over the globe at Hawker 88 Night Market, we’re ready to soak up the rays and enjoy the fun.
Sunday 9 September, 9am-4pm
Come along for a fun day out at and experience the colour and vibrancy of Ukrainian culture as you help celebrate the Ukrainian Independence Day. You’ll be treated to dance performances, food stalls featuring delicious Ukrainian sweets and cakes. There’ll also be demonstrations and workshops on art and craft, plus a themed Cossack bar where you can sample some traditional vodka and cider. Read more.

Melbourne Fringe Festival is bringing the heat from West Africa to the Market with Kwabo dance workshops. Hawker 88 Night Market

Yep, just when you thought you’d have to wait until summer for our next night market, we’ve pulled another one out of the hat. Introducing Hawker 88 Night Market, where you’ll be transported to the streets of Asia to feast on authentic street food from across the continent. Enjoy tastes from 20 different food stalls and lap up the entertainment. There’ll even be karaoke and eating competitions! Read more.
