Melbourne’s favourite Winter Night Market returns
After a three-year hibernation, Melbourne’s favourite Winter Night Market will return to Queen Victoria Market every Wednesday from 1 June to 31 August 2022 for a spectacular 14-week season.
The Winter Night Market will bring together Melbourne’s best street food traders, brewers, distillers, artisans and entertainment for the perfect midweek winter experience.
Night Market-goers will be able to wander the Market’s iconic open-air sheds and laneways to enjoy street food like spicy dumplings, cheesy pasta, smoked meats and decadent desserts while sipping on hot gin toddies, warming spiced cider and mulled wine.
Each week will see a rotating line-up of homegrown talent play live music sets on the Market’s main stage while roving performers keep visitors entertained. Explore the Night Market’s unique stalls selling locally-sourced and handmade products including jewellery, art, skincare, books and homewares before settling in beside one of the many roaring open fires.
Come mid-season, the Winter Night Market will embrace the festive spirit to celebrate Christmas in July. Rug up in your winter woollies and be transported to a winter wonderland complete with snow, Christmas trees, decorations and all of the festive feels.
With free entry, the only prerequisites are to come hungry and ready for a good time!
