Are you interested in learning more about sustainability and ways to lighten your impact on the planet? Come and take a walk with us as we celebrate International Composting Awareness Week through Queen Victoria Market and learn what we’re doing behind the scenes to reduce our environmental footprint, meet some of the traders who are embracing a sustainability philosophy, and pick up tips on how you can become a more conscious shopper. Some of the traders you’ll meet along the way include The Hemp Superstore, Vic Market Soapbox, Wendy Voon, Hagens Organic Meats and Chicken Pantry.
This two-hour guided tour will be co-hosted by the Market’s Sustainability Manager, Kelly Green.
