Have your say: changes to Market signage and wayfinding
We’re developing a coordinated, more consistent approach to wayfinding and signage at the Market.
This new approach aims to address accessibility, visitor legibility and operational clarity, with an emphasis on minimising clutter, using a clear hierarchy, and ensuring signage is sympathetic to the heritage status of the Market.
We are also considering re-lettering some of the Market sheds to achieve sequential logic. It would not remove heritage signs, but would keep the established painted letters on shed gable ends. A to F Sheds would remain the same, with other sheds re-lettered following a north-to-south sequence , as per the below example image:

Information sessions regarding this proposal will be held at the following times and all members of the Market community are encouraged to attend and have your say.
