Santa Visits
Santa will be roving the Market spreading Christmas cheer and snapping photos with families. Bring the kids along to say hi and put in their final wish lists.

Christmas Entertainment Line-Up
Celebrate the festive season at Queen Victoria Market with a vibrant line-up of Christmas entertainers and feel-good holiday cheer across the Market. Enjoy live jazz, roving performers and classic carollers as you shop for fresh produce, gifts and festive treats.
Across December, the Market will come alive with:

- Hoodoo Mayhem Christmas Trio | Sunday 21 December
- Christmas Carollers | Sunday 21 and Tuesday 23 December

- Plus, Santa and his cheerful Elf helper, plus roving stilt-walkers spreading festive joy.
*Queen Street will also transform into a pedestrian-only zone with food trucks and stalls from 20–24 December. Please note, vehicles will not have access to Queen Street during this time.

Kids Passport
Experience the magic of our Kids Passport. Collect your passport and journey through the Market on a treasure hunt, collecting stamps from our friendly traders. Once they’ve completed their merry mission, our young detectives can make their way to the Information Hub to claim their reward!
Remember to pick up your passport from the Queen Victoria Market Information Hub, located on the corner of F Shed and Queen Street, every Market day from 9am. This is the perfect way to explore the Market during the festive season!

Christmas CRFT*WRK Melbourne Craft Fair
Curated by the team behind The Rose St. Artists’ Market, experience a totally unique craft fair showcasing independent makers of all kinds with works that you won’t find anywhere else. Explore CRFT* WRK for a special Christmas market on the 6 December, featuring art, ceramics, jewellery, embroidery, macramé, ethical textiles, homewares, artisan perfume, dog accessories and lots more.

Pasko Sa Melbourne
Celebrate Christmas, Filipino-style, at Pasko sa Melbourne on Friday 5 December, from 1pm – 7pm. This vibrant, free event invites everyone to enjoy a day of festive fun with parol (Christmas lantern) making, balloon twisting workshops, a Christmas parade, gift giving, parlour games, live performances, multicultural food, and more. Join the Christmas festivities and experience Filipino culture in the heart of Melbourne!

Celebrate 25 summers of street eats, beats and city heat at Melbourne’s iconic Summer Night Market, at Queen Victoria Market. Wednesday nights come alive with global street food, cooling cocktails, artisan shopping and live entertainment under Melbourne’s glittering twilight skyline. Come for the food, stay for the mid-week summer magic.
