This summer, get ready to say SHUCK YEAH!
Queen Victoria Market has teamed up with Brick Lane, Innocent Bystander, Antagonist Spirits and Shuck Don’t Chuck to bring a season-long celebration of fresh seafood, drinks, live music and feel-good experiences to String Bean Alley and Brick Lane Market.
Grab a plate of freshly shucked oysters, sip on local beer, wine and cocktails, and soak up the summer atmosphere while supporting an important environmental cause. Through the Shuck Don’t Chuck initiative, collected oyster shells are diverted from landfill and given a second life as part of shellfish reef restoration projects.
Throughout the season, enjoy a rotating program of activations including Thank Shuck It’s Friday, Shucked Sundays, and the feature Shuck Don’t Chuck Shellfish Boil event.
Eat seafood. Have a drink. Shuck it. Don’t chuck it.
