Jap pumpkin is a great pumpkin with a delicious flavour, beautiful orange flesh and dark green striped skin. Also known as Kent pumpkins, their skin is mottled through with yellow or brown patches. Inside, their flesh is soft and dry and features a nutty flavour. Jap pumpkins cut easily and can be grilled, roasted or steamed. They are available all year-round.
