Radishes have red skin, white flesh, a satisfying crunch and a spicy kick. A root-member of the mustard family. they add lovely colour and contrast to any dish, most frequently a salad.
Radishes are a good source of vitamins C, folate and riboflavin (vitamin B2) and they contain minerals such as potassium and calcium.
For a retro twist, pop them in some ice-water and have yourself some radish rosettes… very swish!
