Khalilulla Dydar is a two-time refugee. As a young child and a member of the Hazara ethnic minority, he fled the rise to power of the Taliban in his homeland in the 1990s. Unfortunately, his new life in Ukraine ended abruptly in February 2022 with the Russian invasion of his adopted country.
