Roquette leaves have a distinguished taste, a peppery bite, serrated foliage and an intense aroma. Roquette is a cruciferous vegetable, in the same family as broccoli, kale and brussel sprouts. It’s high in antioxidants and nitrates, as well as vitamin A, K, C, Folate and calcium. Try rocket in salads and wraps or lightly steamed. They are great tossed through pasta or risotto, or add a rocket salad to the top of your gourmet pizza.
