Market Discovery Tour
Discover Melbourne’s favourite market with a fun and educational guided tour. On this 60-minute guided tour, students will explore the vast array of fresh produce whilst discovering Melbourne’s multicultural history and enjoying the hustle and bustle of the Market. Students will have fun meeting our vibrant traders and hearing their stories whilst our friendly guides explain seasonality, provenance and the importance of fresh, healthy food.
Includes:
- 60-minute guided walking tour
- Seasonal Dessert
When: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings
Cost: $17 per student
Numbers: To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students on tours, we allocate one tour guide per group of 10 to 12 students. Additionally, we require that every group of 10 to 12 students is accompanied by at least one teacher or Education Aid.
The maximum number of students we can currently accommodate is approximately 50 per hour session.

Sustainability Tour
On this guided tour, students and teachers will explore the vast array of fresh produce whilst discovering the Market’s sustainability measures and the many ways in which traders and producers are embracing the sustainability ethos.
Includes:
- Guided walking tour (60 minutes)
